Bringing you up to date with all our news...

So much has happened since our last post so here's a potted history...

March 2015
Herb Centre: We declared our new herb centre officially open! More than 60 varieties of fresh herbs for kitchen gardens, herb borders or raised beds.
Loyalty Card: We launched a new loyalty card scheme where customers spending over £25 can collect loyalty stamps and save up for a voucher to spend in-store. Between March and August we issued more than 100 loyalty cards.

April & May 2015
Graphic 45 Ambassador, Clare Charvill led 2 workshops in our craft studio to make an altered box and a photo album. We had a full class on both dates - and the best news is that Clare is coming back to lead 2 more workshops in October and November!

May 2015
Sausages & Burgers: We experimented with some new flavours of our homemade gluten-free sausages and burgers which have been added to our menu. You can watch the sausage making video on YouTube - as well as our jam making and cake making videos! http://www.scotchlodgefarm.co.uk/archive/videos

June 2015
Patterns & Tutorials: I created 4 scrapbook layouts for a special 3-page feature in Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine - they are called Portraiture, My Best Friends, Wild & Free, and Singapore. http://www.scotchlodgefarm.co.uk/products/the-patterns-and-kits-shop
Heritage: We also started the Heritage Series 3 classes to make a set of vintage albums.
Buttons: Our little bantam Buttons hatched a chick. We named it Boris because it had a mop of blonde hair... but it turns out it's actually a girl so now we're calling her Bo!

July 2015
Website: We were very excited to launch our new website and online shop at http://www.scotchlodgefarm.co.uk/
Deli Counter: We found a fantastic supplier of delicious and unusual produce for our deli counter - the best of British cheeses, dips, oils and top of the range charcuterie (including a rather scrummy venison salami).
Facebook: We got our 500th like on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/scotchlodgefarm
Haymaking: Bob has been making hay while the sun shines - you can watch him in action in this video http://www.scotchlodgefarm.co.uk/archive/videos

August 2015
Down on the Farm: We harvested our lavender and picked redcurrants, white currants, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries. They have either been sold in the shop or turned into our homemade jam. We are waiting for a bit of sun to help ripen the apples, quinces, pears and plums on the fruit trees.
Christmas Fayre: We launched our Christmas Fayre list and it is now available in the shop and online. Would you believe we have already taken several orders for Norfolk Bronze turkeys - some people are so organised! http://www.scotchlodgefarm.co.uk/products/the-farm-shop?c=2157

The kitchen is as busy as ever - we are always baking cakes, ready meals, pies, quiches and desserts, as well as finding interesting new products to sell in our fabulous farm shop!

The craft room is always buzzing too - with our weekly Lace and Chat ladies, monthly Heritage and Graphic 45 'Time to Flourish' classes, our Scrapbook Social at the end of every month. It's always exciting to find new crafty goodies, the latest product ranges, paper collections and accessories. And, of course, we are looking forward to the Graphic 45 workshops in the Autumn with the lovely Clare Charvill!

So that brings us up to the end of August. We will give you more news as and when it happens.
